Frequently Asked Questions
What types of projects do you work on?
I work with brands, agencies, creative studios, and freelancers on projects related to seasonal events and key brand moments. This includes :
seasonal campaigns (Christmas, spring, summer, Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc.),
packaging and limited editions,
product illustration and visual communication,
illustrated worlds for retail and brand activation, and creative concepts prior to product launches.
My role is to create illustrated worlds designed to strengthen the emotional and commercial impact of brands during their key moments.
Do you only work on illustration?
No, I don't just produce isolated visuals. My approach is to design coherent illustrated worlds, conceived to integrate into a brand strategy : campaign, product, packaging, or retail experience.
Illustration is a tool to enhance the brand experience, not an end in itself.
Why specialize in seasonal events?
Because these are the times when brands have the most at stake :
increased visibility,
intense commercial pressure,
need for immediate differentiation,
search for emotion and memorability,
The seasons are already existing emotional touchpoints in consumers' lives. My job is to transform them into visual opportunities for brands.
Is this suitable for all brands?
My work is particularly suited to brands that want to strengthen their visual appeal, create strong seasonal campaigns, develop limited editions or capsule collections, and bring more emotion and storytelling to their products.
This includes the cosmetics, food, lifestyle, home decor, fashion, stationery, retail, and creative brands sectors.
What are your creation timelines?
Timelines depend on the type of project and the season. A simple illustration can be completed in a few days to a few weeks. A seasonal campaign or packaging project generally requires several weeks of design and iterations. Projects are often planned several months in advance, depending on the commercial seasons (Christmas, spring, etc.).
Why is anticipating the seasons important?
The most successful campaigns aren't created in a rush. A commercial season requires advance preparation to ensure :
stronger creative direction,
greater consistency across all media,
higher execution quality,
comprehensive marketing strategy,
Working ahead allows you to transform a campaign into a true brand experience and maximize the season's return on investment.
How do you differ from a generalist illustrator?
I specialize in seasonal campaigns, brand universes linked to key commercial periods, and translating marketing objectives into illustrated worlds. The goal isn't just to create an image, but to build a visual experience that serves a clear commercial objective.
Do you work with agencies or freelancers as subcontractors?
Yes, I collaborate with brands directly, creative agencies, branding and packaging studios, and freelancers who have complementary needs. I can provide support on an existing project or create a complete illustrated universe.
Can you adapt an existing style or universe?
Yes, depending on the rights and the project's scope. It's possible to adapt an existing universe, adjust colors or formats, and transform an illustration into packaging, a campaign, or retail materials. Each adaptation is defined according to the brand strategy and usage rights.
Remote work and collaborations:
I collaborate with brands and agencies in France and internationally. All projects are carried out remotely, with structured follow-up and clear communication at each stage. This approach allows for seamless collaboration, independent of location, and is perfectly suited to seasonal projects and international marketing cycles.
Deliverables and Responsibility for Use
Deliverables vary depending on the type of project :
For visual forecasting, a creative reflection booklet is provided to guide the brand.
For seasonal illustrations, deliverables take the form of original illustrated creations intended for the media defined beforehand (packaging, communication, digital, retail, etc.). I specialize in illustration; my work focuses exclusively on visual creation (drawing, composition, illustrated graphic universe) and does not include copywriting or overall graphic design (layout, complete brand identity, or typography direction). The files are provided according to the scope defined beforehand (formats, media, and agreed-upon uses) and integrated into the client's creative production pipeline. The use of the creative work (production, printing, distribution, adaptation, or integration into a campaign) is the responsibility of the client or their service providers once the deliverables have been submitted and approved.
I cannot be held responsible for the results of using the creative work outside the scope defined in the quote, particularly in the event of modification, misuse, or unapproved adaptation. Each project includes a usage and rights transfer agreement tailored to its commercial use.
